Luba joined Rice University’s Office of Technology Transfer in 2006. She has more than 28 years experience in the polyolefins industry where she worked in various capacities in research and development, technology management, and licensing for Union Carbide Corporation and in licensing, competitive intelligence and intellectual property for The Dow Chemical Company. She earned her B.S. in chemistry from Ursinus College and her M.A. and Ph.D. in chemistry from Princeton University.
